Mr. Sunday Olukemi Ekozin
is arrowhead of Geo-minerals & Resources Limited, he doubles as
the Chief Executive Officer and the Project Director, he carved
a niche for himself in the Nigerian mining landscape in 1992
with Northwest – Christem Limited where he worked as the project
manager in Zurak zinc mines and worked with this company till
early 1999 when he pulled out to form Geo-minerals & Resources
Limited in the mid 1999 as Co Founder, CEO and Project Director,
in 2002, he spearhead this company to pioneered the first zircon
sand export in Nigeria, he is happily married with a wife and
three children.
Mr.
Ekozin
is a member of many international organizations i.e. Society for Mining
Metallurgical and Exploration Engineers, International Colour Gemstone
Association and Tantalum-Niobium International Study Centre. On the
local scene, Mr. Ekozin is a member and the current Chairman of Miners
Association of Nigeria.
Mr. Andrew Grayson
is a co-founder of
Geo-minerals & Resources Limited, a Briton by national, he is an
inspiration to the operation of this great company and acts a roving
Director.
Mr. Moses Adeboye
is the company Accountant consultant, a chartered accountant by
training, he worked in collaboration with the Administrative Manager to
ensure the management of personnel and financial records of the company.
He started out with this company in January, 2000, His responsibilities
are handling of financial strategy and planning, monitoring, management
and reporting, including management and development of policies,
systems, processes and personnel involved. Reporting and accounting as
per regulatory and legal requirements including taxation, dividends,
annual report and accounts.
Other areas of potential responsibility: company insurance,
import/export administration, licencing, contracts and agreements, legal
areas and activities, corporate level negotiations (eg premises, plant,
trading, acquisitions and divestments, disposals), major
supplier/customer/partner relationships, regulatory bodies relationships
and strategies, approvals and accreditations.
Can also include IT responsibilities, especially if there is not an IT
director.
Can also include environmental responsibilities, if the environmental
function/manager reports to CEO.
Ms. Victoria Adedeji
is a graduate of
Business management with bias on accountancy, she was employed in
September,
2004, she is saddled with the day to day financial transactions of
Geo-minerals under direct supervision of the CEO and the Chartered
Accountant, she prepares journal entries and reconciles general ledger
and subsidiary accounts; prepares monthly financial statements,
including distributing monthly revenue and expenditure reports to
departments. She analyzes and reconciles expenditure and revenue
accounts, including board of directors’ accounts and investment reports.
Makes wire transfers and journal funding transfers and reconciles
monthly bank statements. Assists with the preparation of the annual and
mid-year budgets. Assists with the fiscal year-end and fixed asset
accounting.
Provides training in the use of the company’s computerized financial
system and assists Performs other duties of a similar nature or level as
the CEO may direct from time to time.
Mr. Femi Oyelusi
a field Mining Engineer, he was employed in January, 2003 with the
responsibilities of handling mines prospecting, sampling, exploration
and determination of mines economic deposit. He performs the supervision
of geologic and geophysical field survey work which involves various
types of analysis as rock cores, soil and aggregate samples, data
interpretation, reports and the preparation of geologic reports of
findings. He perform the evaluation of hydro geologic, groundwater,
water supply, solid waste and hazardous waste disposal site
investigations and programs.
Mr. Ronald Audu
is Geologist, he was employed in September, 2003 with the
responsibilities of concerted collaboration with the Mining Engineering
as ensuring the feed – raw material and that between the mines and the
processing plant there is proper simulation. He works also directly with
the Project director in this regards. His other duties are mines
planning, direct, and coordinate long-term feeds requirement technical
requirement of the company. He lead technical and policy role in a
significant area of geologic expertise for the company.
Mr. Michael Ojietu
a mechanical engineer, he was employed in January, 2000. He responsible
for the entire processing plant supervision and maintenance. He work
directly under the Project Director in ensure smooth running and quality
of products. He also oversees installations, operations of processing
equipments, maintenance, and repair of such equipment as centralized
density concentrators, magnetic separator, spirals water plumbs etc.
Others
– Besides the above senior management teams of Geo-minerals & Resources
Limited, the company has four regular employed security Guides at the
factory plant, two partly employed Nigerian Armed Policemen, thirty two
factory attendance of varied grades, two regulars drivers, one heavy
duty machine operator and two mechanics.
